Bender is an established name in the hospitality and catering industry. As a total supplier of tableware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment, the family business is known for its combination of quality, advice, and customization. With a range of more than 14,000 products and a growing customer base, the time had come to modernize the internal organization and prepare for the future.
After years of experience with Microsoft Navision, the realization grew that further digitalization was necessary to achieve ambitions. Instead of a traditional upgrade, Bender chose renewal. Together with Odoo Experts, it was decided to let go of the familiar and invest in a fresh, integrated approach with Odoo 18 as the foundation.
The transition brought more than just a new system. The collaboration with Odoo Experts also meant a renewed look at processes, customer service, and efficiency. By integrating sales, inventory management, customer service, and administration into one system, clarity, calm, and control were achieved. Employees now work with real-time information, customer inquiries are followed up more quickly, and the process of personalized printing on tableware is now fully manageable within Odoo.
Bender has also revised its online strategy. The existing webshop on Sana Commerce no longer met the company's needs. With Odoo's integrated website and e-commerce functionality, a new webshop has been built that fully aligns with the rest of the system. This not only provides a better customer experience but also gives Bender complete control over content, inventory, and orders.
The collaboration with Odoo Experts was characterized by a clear approach and intensive guidance. Customization was provided where necessary, but always with an eye on scalability and simplicity. Thanks to this approach, Bender now has a system that grows with the ambitions, without becoming more complex.
